The black walnut may be a thing of the past. There's a threat to it and it's real and happening. 1,000 Cankers Disease has made it's way to the east coast, in my county, in fact. It's a disease that affects black walnut trees and there is no known cure. Trees can die in as little as 1-3 years from first observation of symptoms. Needless to say I am concerned.
